About Clayton
Parros excelled as a 200m and 400m sprinter during his four-year career at the University of North Carolina. Parros claimed back-to-back ACC Indoor 400m titles as a freshman and sophomore and helped his team win three ACC 4x400m relay championships during his tenure at Chapel Hill. Due to his fifth place finish in the 400m at the 2014 USA Indoor Championships Parros earned a place on the U.S. 4x400m relay team headed to the World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland. Parros ran the first leg of the first heat, helping Team USA to an easy win. Team USA would go on to break the world indoor record in the finals, earning Parros his first international gold.
