About David
One of the more decorated athletes in the history of the George Mason University track and field program, David Verburg grabbed a spot in the 4x400m relay pool for the IAAF World Outdoor Championships in Moscow thanks to his 6th place finish at the USA Outdoor Championships. In the preliminary round at the USA Outdoor Championships, he ran a personal best time of 44.75, which ranked fifth in the world immediately following the outdoor championships. As part of relays and within individual events, Verburg has been selected as an NCAA Division I All-American a total of 11 times and holds times that rank in the top five in school history in eight different events.  
 3rd place in the 400m at Roma (45.18); PR in the 200m at Gainesville Floria Relays (20.77); 1st place in the 4x400m for Team USA (2:57.25); 4th place in 400m at Adidas Grand Prix (45.09); 7th place at Lausanne (46.00);
