Personal Coaches and Personal Medical Information
-
Athletes who have personal coaches/personal medical may request a housing/credential package for their support staff. These packages will be limited but housing will be in the athlete hotel. The Personal Coaches Policy will be used to rank coaches. Coaches with the highest rankings will have the first right of refusal for housing and credential in the athlete hotel. Personal medical will be selected based on number of athletes serviced and athlete’s medal potential.
-
The housing (3 meals/day included) and credential package for the athlete hotel is available from March 13 – 20 and will cost approximately $244 for a twin with roommate or $299 for a single if available. All housing/credential applications must be submitted at Team Sign-up. Because of the short turn around, between the USA Indoors and the World Championships entry deadline, support staff must come to Portland with their travel plans.
-
Personal coaches must be members of the USATF Coaches Registry and personal medical must be members of USATF and have a medical license on file with USATF to be eligible for housing and a credential. All personal support staff must have taken the Safe Sport Course to be eligible for accreditation and housing packages.
